Apartment description
Lovely holiday rental apartment with a balcony overlooking the street Toledo and the main gate of the Plaza Mayor of Madrid. Lots of light and great views, located on the fifth floor of a renovated building with no elevator. Top range design, very modern and highly original in its distribution. The walls, painted in vivid and strong colours, together with the traditional ceramic tile floors highlight the spacious and airy rooms, all comfortable and equipped to accommodate up to four people.
Located over one of the entrance arches of the Plaza Mayor of Madrid and 2 minutes walking from Puerta del Sol, this modern apartment offers a prime location for travelers who enjoy the historical center of large cities. Situated in one of the most desirable areas of town, nestled in the historic Madrid, with its cafes, tapas bars and restaurants areas such as the streets Cava Baja and Cava Alta, and 2 minutes from major shopping areas of Madrid like Calle Preciados and Gran Via, this accommodation will allow you to discover, walking, the best of Madrid.
On entering the apartment you will find the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen opens onto the dining room and living room. The living room has a very comfortable double sofa bed (futon latex), flat screen TV, DVD and other amenities (WiFi). The balcony overlooks Toledo street, with wonderful views of the Plaza Mayor and San Isidro. From the dining room you access the Japanase style decorated bedroom, furnished with a big double bed (latex futon) on tatami, and large closets with rice paper sliding doors. The bedroom has a door to the bright and spacious bathroom, designed in wood and frosted glass, with a huge shower area on a teak deck, and two windows to the courtyard of the building.
Very well placed, given its location and proximity to Puerta del Sol, but also very close to La Latina (line 5) and Tirso de Molina (line 1) Metro station, a large number of Lines of buses and taxi stops.

How does flat rental work
- Choose the apartment that best suits your needs.
- On the apartment page, check availability for the desired period of time. In this same page, you can calculate the total cost of your stay and booking.
- The cost of your reservation will be a % of the total amount, which varies according to the apartment and duration of your stay. Payment must be made via Paypal and you can use your Paypal account, if you have one, or your Visa or MasterCard credit card.
- Once the apartment booking has been completed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with all relevant information for your booking.
- A few days before your arrival, we will contact you to plan your entry into the booked apartment. A Daily Flat Rental representative will be waiting for you. At this point, you will be required to pay the rest of your stay plus a deposit that will vary according to the agreed days. This will be returned on your departure day.
- We will be at your entire disposal right from the moment of your arrival to hand over the keys and provide you with all sorts of information you may require about how the apartment fittings work, how to move around the city or any other questions you may have. We will also provide you with a phone number should you have any questions or require further help.
- We will also meet you at the time of your departure to return your deposit and pick up the apartment keys.
