Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week
Next September Madrid will accomodate the 48th edition of Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week, the main showcase for Spanish fashion which bears comparison with those in Paris and Milan. Designers from all over the country will be presenting their ideas for the spring-summer 2009 with the objective to open up markets all over the world.

World famous avant-garde creators will present their most recent proposals. The works of outstanding artists will be presented alongside with the creations of time-honoured fashion designers.
Pasarela Cibeles is back in Madrid under a new name: Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week. This change in its name is an attempt to favour the presence of Spanish fashion in the international arena and, at the same time, to enhance Madrid as a platform for design.
The fair is intended for professionals in the fashion sector and it will introduce the main trends for the next season. Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week will make it possible to get acquainted with the proposals of avant-garde, world famous designers.
It brings together the work of well-known creators and artists that are just starting to stand out. Different world-famous designers will present their proposals for the new Autumn-Winter season.
This year, the fair is complemented with a second catwalk area. More than fifty designers will present their own view of present-day fashion. Thus, the traditional Pasarela Cibeles will be the stage for the most classical or neutral-style fashion creations, while a new space called Neptuno, will host the most avant-garde proposals.
The four first days of Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week will be devoted to world-famous fashion designers.
