Madrid City Tour is one of the easiest and most comfortable ways of discovering the city. All you have to do is buy your ticket, hop on the bus, put on your earphones, listen to the recorded commentaries and enjoy the streets, monuments and places of interest that you pass by. Plus you can hop off wherever you want. You can buy a one-day or two-day ticket and use it on route one, route two, or on both routes as many times as you wish.
There are Madrid City Tour stations close to our holiday apartments in Madrid historic centre.
Madrid Airport
Barajas Airport
is  the main international airport serving Madrid in Spain. In 2010, over 49.8 million passengers used Madrid-Barajas, making it the country's largest and busiest airport, and in 2009 it was the world's 11th busiest airpor and Europe's fourth busiest airport. It opened in 1928, and has grown to be one of the most important aviation centres of Europe. Located within the city limits of Madrid, just 9 km (5.6 mi) from the city's financial district and 13 km (8.1 mi) northeast of the Puerta del Sol, Madrid's historic centre.

Connected to the metro and bus system getting into the city centre via public transport is a cheap and effective option.

Círculo de Bellas Artes

The Círculo de Bellas Artes ("Circle of Fine Arts") is one of Madrid's oldest cultural centers, primely located between Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Cibeles on calle Alcalá. The historic building houses a plethora of different spaces: Cine Estudio (a small movie theater), a library, a large café with outdoor seating for those who want to see and be seen, and various spaces for art exhibits and special events.

Very interesting the panoramic views from the terrace at 5th floor. You can see from higher GranVia Street, Puerta del Sol or Cibeles square.
